This movie was great. But I just didn’t understand why there weren’t many dogs. In modern day cinema, dogs play a dominant role in most movies, if not all movies. Even some music tends to have dog themes, such as A Few Mac Demarco Songs, and many more. What’s more, dogs are rarely ever members of the Screen Writers Guild because they cannot speak or wear clothes. This makes the audition process of a dog character as simple as rubbing beef all over your calves and walking down the street to a children’s sports game.
